How to install the Windows Server 2008 operating system

Aim : How to install the Windows Server 2008 operating system

Windows Server 2018 Installation :

• Step - 1 : Make Pendrive or CD-DVD bootable using software such as PowerISO, rufus, yumi, etc.
• Step - 2 : Insert bootable Pendrive or CD-DVD in your device and start device. After the installer runs, the install windows screen appears.

• Step - 3 : Enter language and other preferences. Click Next.

• Step - 4 : Click Install now. The setup begins.

• The installer prompts to select an operating system.

• Step - 5 : Select Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard (Full Installation) and click Next.

• The installer prompts to read the license terms.

• Step - 6 : Read the license terms. If you agree to the license terms, select I accept the license terms and click Next.

• Step - 7 : The installer asks you which type of installation. For a new installation, click Custom (advanced).

• Step - 8 : The installer asks for disk location information. Make your selection and click Next.

• The installation begins with copying window files.

• Expanding Windows files

• Installing features

• Installing updates

• Windows will restart to continue

• Restarting...

• Setup is updating registry settings.

• Setup is starting services

• Completing installation...

• Setup will continue after restarting your computer.

• Restarting...

• Setup is preparing computer for first use.

• Step - 9 : The installer prompts to change password. click ok.

• Step - 10 : Enter a new password, re-enter the password to confirm it, and click the right-arrow.

• Notification that password has been changed.

• Step - 11 : After you click OK on the confirmation screen, the operating system prepares your desktop.

• Prepared Desktop and OS is ready for use now.

• Step - 12 : The Initial Configuration Tasks window appears by default. Windows Server is now installed. Windows Server prompts for activation information. Enter the Product Key and click Next.

• Product Key Verification...

• Product Key Verified and Windows Activation successful.

Result :

Windows Server 2018 operating system successfully installed in our device and ready for use.
